Who is Zoe Moon?

Zoe grew up in a small town in Ohio and moved to Los Angeles to pursue music. She signed a publishing deal with BMG Music, recorded for the legendary Clive Davis's Arista Records and toured across two continents. She headlined her own shows and opened for many personal favorites including David Bowie,Sir Elton John, Beck, and Hole. Having been initiated into the esoteric world at a very young age, it was just natural for Zoe to read charts for those she met on the road, on set, in the studio, or at her concerts.

She was approached by the technical director on Will and Grace to shoot a reality show, "The Adventures of the Abductees" which featured her band and aired nationally on cable TV for a year. Zoe next came aboard an independent film company to write, direct and star in spiritually edgy projects she and her partners would develop.

Zoe means 'circle of life' and is the root word for zodiac, and like her name implies, she began to come full circle when the film industry began pursuing her to read for them. She has spent the last years as a much sought-after counselor in private readings for top directors, producers, actors, writers, and other insiders who are trying to time their premieres, shoot dates, auditions, casting calls, contracts, and find the right chemistry between actors.

Zoes understanding of artists and the industry has made her indispensable to many but her popularity crosses all lines as is evidenced by her exuberant following on The Zoe Moon Astrology Show, a live one hour radio show the 1st and 3rd Fridays at 9am on HealthyLife.net Radio.

Her readership grows weekly across all platforms. Zoe writes for Northwest Womans Magazine, OM Times Magazine, Manchester Gossip, Glitterball Magazine, The Cosmic Path, Astrology Scopes, and Zoe Moon Astrology.

A Revelation to Help Transcend All Past/Present/Future Troubles

Key Lesson: Our true nature is not discovered by acquiring new knowledge, but by awakening to what has always been present: the light of a living awareness, waiting to be awakened, and realized as being inseparable from one's True Self.


Once we realize that whatever we will bring into our awareness has always been an aspect of our own consciousness, only not yet awakened to, we also understand this liberating truth: nothing exists outside of us. All destinations are already within us, including the Love we are searching for and the unconditional freedom that It alone has the power to grant.

The secret inlet into the realm of what is timeless and eternally true is our awareness of the present moment; for our awareness of now is not an awareness of a given time, but is vested in that higher consciousness through which the things of time move in and out of creation.

It is the light of awareness that first reveals to us hidden aspects of our own nature that we can no longer continue being, and that then acts to liberate us from this mistaken identity, leading us to further integrated and higher states of consciousness.

The mastery of anything, including ourselves, begins with the faith that we are not here on earth to be perfected according to an image we hold of ourselves, but rather to allow Perfection to work its way upon us . . . so that only the awareness of something greater than ourselves can draw us into a greatness beyond ourselves, if we will it so.

Any weakness we may harbor in our present character persists only because we have yet to see how its presence compromises our happiness, but a growing awareness of this interior shakiness changes everything. Our awakening stirs within us a Celestial Character created for the purpose of transforming the soul's stumbling stones into the building blocks of a whole new unshakable Self.

No moment can be any more valuable to us than our awareness of the possibilities unfolding within it, which means that real success in life doesn't so much depend upon what life hands us to work with, but rather into whose hands we place whatever has come our way.

ALLERGIES

The Greek meaning of allergy is "abnormal response." Allergy occurs when normally harmless substances produce an abnormal response in the body. Some of these substances include food, dust, pollen, mold, bacteria, plants, textiles, cosmetics, insect bites, animal fur, feathers, smoke, chemical pollutants, and drugs.


An "allergen", sometimes called an "antigen" is the cause of allergy and symptoms will vary. Some of the symptoms associated with allergy include watery eyes, runny nose, nasal congestion, sneezing, rash, hives, upset stomach and breathing difficulties.
When the immune system mistakes a normally harmless substance as something harmful to the body an allergic reaction occurs. The immune system detects this allergen or antigen and begins to manufacture an antibody - Immunoglobin E. The antibody then combines with the allergen and causes the release of active compounds, one of which is histamine. This histamine interacts with the blood vessels and mucous membranes which then cause leakage, swelling and congestion in the body.

Typically when someone is first exposed to an allergen no symptoms will occur. The immune system logs the initial contact of the allergen into it's memory and when re-exposure occurs it reacts to produce an allergic reaction. Heredity plays a role in allergy and this is called "atopic". Some examples of atopic allergy are food allergies, asthma, eczema, and hay fever.
If an allergen is identified, avoidance of the cause is the best prevention. For example if you find out that you are allergic to a specific food, don't eat it. Of course some allergens can't be avoided so other steps need to be taken. Medical doctors and pharmacies use three types of medication: antihistamine which blocks the histamine, anti-inflammatory agents such as corticosteroids and decongestants. Ask your pharmacist for the insert from the manufacturer and read about the possible side effects. The reason why should do this is not only should you be aware of what you are putting inside your body, but you will be able to get additional facts that can provide you with an intelligent choice. For example, decongestants can help for the short term, but it has been proven to be counterproductive for long term.

Naturopathic doctors can help with allergies, as well as, homeopathic medicines stimulate the body to heal itself and can be used without side effects.

The HealthyLife.net Recipe of the Month


Poached Salmon

Cooking Time: 10-20 minutes, 1-large skillet

4 1 inch thick salmon steaks
1/3 cup lemon juice
2/3 cup water
1 tablespoon white or apple cider vinegar
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon white pepper
1 teaspoon dill weed

In a large skillet over medium heat place lemon juice, water, vinegar and dill weed.
Add salmon in a single layer. Cover and poach for 7 minutes or until salmon is a milky color.
Remove fish and keep warm. In skillet, reserve poaching liquid in for Salmon Sauce below.


Salmon Sauce:
2 tablespoons butter
1/2 tespoon dill weed
2 tablespoons lemon juice
2 eggs, room temperature

With skillet on medium heat add butter, dill weed and lemon juice to poaching liquid.
In a separate bowl whisk the eggs until light and foamy.
Gradually add, 1 tablespoon at a time, a small amount of poaching liquid to the eggs whisking constantly.
Add and whisk in the egg mixture to the rest of poaching liquid in skillet and cook 1 minute over low heat, stirring constantly.
Pour over salmon and serve.
