make the healthiest decisions for their pets and themselves with easy to understand, practical advice.

Dr. Nelson is a veterinarian, a Certified Veterinary Journalist (CVJ) and a Past President of the District of Columbia Academy of Veterinary Medicine. She is a member of The Iams Pet Wellness Council and is a reporter for Veterinary News Network. Dr. Katy is also a weekly guest on DC News Channel 8's Let's Talk Live and is the veterinarian on Fox 5 DC’s monthly "Ask the Vet" segment.
